Check out the Fashion District Facebook page for photos of the Spring 2015 show and a link to the video from Cinemachines.
Don't forget to come downtown this Saturday and visit the participating retailers from yesterday's fashion show. Stop in at Toni Moore Clothing/How She Wore It or MP Couture or Shop on Lemon and enter to win the gift basket on display at the store. (Baskets created by Wendie Monrroy on Main, Mrs. Tiggy Winkles, and Shop on Lemon respectively).
As an added bonus, we'll be including a 'voucher' for two tickets to Les Miz with two of the baskets and a voucher for four tickets to Pirates of Penzance with one.
The Riverside Police Department are looking for more victims of this scam. If you have been a victim, or if you know of a victim, please contact Brian Mooney of the police department to report it.
A huge thank you to all of the retailers and models who took part in yesterday's fashion show despite the weather. The models particularly were real troopers, dressed in spring and summer fashions but having to face almost wintery conditions. And thanks to those who attended ... we really appreciate your coming out. Look for photos and video by Cinemachines later.
And special thanks to all of those behind the scenes who make the fashions shows possible. To Plantation Productions who battled high winds for staging, to David St. Pierre who was our intrepid MC, to Shane who provided the music, to the fashion show team of Josh, Vanessa, and Emily plus our own Eleanor, to the County District 2 volunteers led by William, and to the IPA team. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
It's almost here ... only one sleep away. The Spring 2015 Fashion Show hits Main Street tomorrow at 6 pm.
For first time attendees, chairs are provided so that you can be comfortable while watching the show. We also provide signage and programs so you can make a note of which retailer has that outfit you absolutely must have.
Media is asked to sign in at the RDP information table and get a media pass for the show. An area at the end of the runway will be available for photographers to set up and shoot the show.
And think positive - no rain tomorrow!!
