What began as baking from home has now become a sweet stamp in downtown Riverside. Regina and Von Gray opened Sweet Epies in 2013 at 3540 9th Street in hopes to leave a legacy and inspire their children for generations to come. Downtown Riverside was a location of choice for Sweet Epies when Regina and Von met the former owner of the space and fell in love with the area.
Sweet Epies offers an array of unique desserts such as their signature sweet potato cheesecake with a pecan caramel crunch. “Our guests experience a heavenly bliss after tasting our sweet potato cheesecake,” says Regina. Sweet Epies doesn’t just offer desserts. They also offer a lunch menu with salads, soups, sandwiches, and more.
The owners of Sweet Epies are working on several projects with the local community. They recently launched Jazz Dinner Night on select Fridays during the month to feature live music and a special dinner menu.
