Options For All (OFA) is a California, 501(c)3 non-profit organization, dedicated to creating and supporting opportunities for adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. They provide their clients with opportunities to enjoy life in their community with dignity and respect. Since its inception in 1985, they now serve 1,500+ consumers across the state of California with more than eight innovative programs. Willie Walker is with the San Diego location in the Business Development office and will share information on their programs.
The City of Riverside has partnered with the California Green Business Network (CAGBN) to provide environmental consulting at no cost to local businesses to help them save money, operate more sustainably, and receive public recognition for their efforts. The Program provides each business with tailored, personalized tools and recommendations to help that business become a Certified Green Business. Registered businesses receive assistance in how to reduce energy and water consumption, prevent pollution, divert waste from landfills and educate their staff in creating a cleaner healthier environment for all. Sandrine Cassidy is the Program Supervisor and CAGBN representative and will share how businesses can both benefit from the Program and enroll.
The luncheon will be held at the Riverside Game Lab located at 3633 Market Street next to Riverside Food Lab. The menu includes your choice of a Beef or Chicken Shawarma wrap or a Falafel (vegan) wrap, plus small side and dessert. Please indicate your choice of wrap when reserving. The cost is $30 if reservations are made prior to Friday, April 24th, thereafter $35. Sorry but all reservations will be billed unless cancelled on or before Friday, April 24th.
