Twelfth Night Progressive Dinner

6:30 pm at Mission Inn (Staging location)

The Old Riverside Foundation wants to give you an opportunity to relive the grand English tradition of Twelfth Night!

For many centuries, Christmas Day generally was considered the first day of Christmas (think: partridge in a pear tree); this was the beginning of twelve days of feasting and merrymaking. The evening of the final day was called Twelfth Night, and it culminated these twelve days of midwinter festivals by an additional feast marking the official end of Christmas.

Old Riverside Foundation has not forgotten this wonderful celebration. The festivities will begin at the Mission Inn staging area. Celebrants will then be transported via horse-drawn carriages to their respective appetizer, dinner and dessert houses in the historic downtown Riverside area.
